Calling all Plymouth/South Devon foodies, we need you!

Do you like eating out and buying good food, then writing about it? Do you like all things social media, maybe already have a blog yourself or wish to improve and expand your writing experience? Have you ever wanted to be a food blogger or write about food?

Dining Devon, Lauren Heath, Chris Gower, Michael Caines MBE, Exeter Food Festival 2019

We are looking for a Plymouth or South Devon based blogger/food blogger/foodie who might want to join the Dining Devon crew as our third hand. This is an unpaid role, and to begin with will be a bit ad hoc, but as time goes on, who knows where you might end up.  Dining Devon is written by Chris Gower and Lauren Heath, we both have full-time jobs and need a hand!

Dining Devon (or Eating Exeter as it was) was created by two passionate foodies, Chris & Polly, in 2011 and is one of the region’s favourite food blogs.  Lauren joined Dining Devon in 2016 and was quickly made co-editor given her dedication!

Across our social media platforms and with email subscribers we have 10,000+ followers and this is growing nearly every day!

So here is the deal.

Send at least two examples of either previous written articles or reviews and a cover letter giving some details about who you are, your experience and why you’d be a good choice.  Your grammar has to be excellent and your speeling has to be spot on 😉

Our main criteria are that you are Plymouth or South Devon based foodie (if not have the ability and be willing to travel) and be, like, real good at written stuff.
