Cocktail lovers prepare yourself. A British handcrafted cocktail startup has launched a range of super-premium, bottled classics they claim (with good reason) to be as good as anything you’ll get at the Savoy. And with three gold and one silver medal at the 2019 Global Spirits Masters as well as being a finalist in the 2020 Gift of the Year, they seem to be making good on their word.

Their bartender-quality cocktail range is deliberately made with only small batch, artisan spirits from around the world, shunning larger commercial distilleries in favour of the passion and craftmanship of small, regional distillers with great stories.

This commitment and deep love of small-batch, craft spirits is what sets Tom Savano apart in world all too often dominated by large brands and lack of authenticity. Tom Savano however, are not just a cocktail. They have been designed as a fully experiential immersion into the world of craft spirits and travel.

The brand, incredibly launched around James’ day job in the city, has been the result of nearly two years of blood, sweat and tears, often working until 3am in the morning to perfect a recipe or create the captivating story of Tom Savano himself, the iconic but mysterious enigma behind the drinks.

With consumer tastes changing rapidly, Tom Savano appears to have arrived just in time to lead the charge in a new growing trend towards farm-to-glass drinks, craft spirits and the philosophy of “drink less, but drink better”. Being the only cocktail company on the market to champion small-batch spirits and focus purely on regional sourcing has created a singly unique offering in the RTD scene, which has long been dogged by oversweet, mass-produced drinks.

James Kerslake, founder of Tom Savano, explained:
“’I wanted to really push the boundaries and redefine the perception of premixed cocktails. Being very particular myself about what I drink, I wanted something that I would personally drink over anything else, even from most top bars. Cocktails to me are all about a story, the origin of the spirit you use and the history behind every single ingredient down to the smallest detail. When I drink a Mojito, I want to feel like I’m on the sunset strip of Ibiza watching the last golden strip disappear beneath the waves, sitting with the rum distiller and chatting about his family and life story. That’s what Tom Savano is about.”

Devon Coastal Negroni
Unites the romance of Italy with a vintage 100 year old vermouth recipe, a blend of gentle but bitter garden Amaro’s, with the authentic distillation of a Devon gin, inspired from bygone seafaring voyages. (Made with Salcombe gin, Devon)

English Garden Lychee Martini
Blends organic English elderflower vodka with the sweet lychee aromas of the far east, along with our signature blend of dry vermouths and just a hint of citrus. (Made with Jelley’s organic Vodka, Northamptonshire)

Kentucky Winter Old Fashioned
Carries the heritage of more than a century of American whiskey making, showcasing both an origin rye whiskey and a post-prohibition bourbon, derived from red winter wheat, blended with a rich dark sugar and our signature bitters blend (Made with Makers Mark Bourbon, Kentucky)

Single Estate Reposado Margarita
Pays tribute to the cobbled streets, white sand beaches and azure waters of Mexico where our reposado tequila (aged up to 9 months in barrels) is one of the few still made the old-fashioned way, with stone wheels and roasted in pits.
