The Maltsters Arms, Tuckenhay – Riverside Pub, Restaurant & Rooms

A riverside stay and seriously memorable meal at the Maltsters Arms, Tuckenhay.

The Maltsters Arms in Tuckenhay, a historic riverside pub, offers a memorable dining experience thanks to its charming atmosphere and focus on local produce.

The beautifully restored riverside pub blends historic charm with relaxed, modern dining. After previous short visits, I finally stayed overnight and enjoyed the full experience – from the warm, characterful interiors shaped by its Keith Floyd legacy and the river below, to a menu that champions local produce with confidence and creativity.

Dinner felt indulgent yet unfussy, and waking up to peaceful river views made breakfast a real highlight.

With stylish rooms, a welcoming atmosphere, it’s an ideal South Devon escape for food lovers and weekend wanderers alike.

Grab a cuppa, dive in, and plan your visit! Continue reading The Maltsters Arms, Tuckenhay – Riverside Pub, Restaurant & Rooms
